More charges added against mom, grandparents accused of starving boy
The mother and maternal grandparents of an 8-year-old Mercer County boy who was found abused and nearly starved to death by child welfare workers in western Pennsylvania last month have now been charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

The mother and maternal grandparents of an 8-year-old Pennsylvania boy doctors said "looked like a Holocaust survivor" were ordered on Thursday to stand trial on attempted murder and other charges for allegedly denying the boy food regularly and hiding him from public view.
