Armed Robbery Suspect Captured
After nearly a month on the run, the suspect in a Wood River armed robbery is behind bars. 41-year-old Christopher Booker of St. Louis had eluded police since charges were filed a few of weeks ago, but the United States' Marshall's Service has taken him into custody and he will be returning to Madison County to face his charges.

Parents Charged In Childs Battery
A 7-month-old is still hospitalized after allegedly suffering broken ribs and internal injuries at the hands of his parents. The Madison County State's Attorney's Office has charged 20-year-old Kamryn N. Kerr and 18-year-old Ashlee N. Wethington, both of the 4,000 block of Braden Street in Granite City, with Aggravated Battery to a Child and Endangering the Life or Health of a Child.
Alton police: Suspect in custody in shooting death
An Illinois man accused of playing a role in last weekend's shooting death of a St. Louis man was being held Wednesday in lieu of $1 million bond. Prosecutors in Madison County charged Antione Parker, 33, of Belleville with three counts of murder and one count apiece of armed robbery and armed violence.
