The Michigan Department of Natural Resources said Friday that it and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service are seeking information about the shooting death of the wolf in late April near Engadine in Mackinac County.

The newly appointed acting city manager of Hamtramck, which is struggling to control mounting deficits, faces trial this summer on a felony assault charge involving an incident on Mackinac Island, according to authorities.
