Luna County's Special Master in Sixth Judicial District Court hopes to bring her experience on the job to the highest bench within the district.

Deming, Hatch and north central Luna County are currently under the same kind of warning until 1:30 p.m.MDT. At 12:40 p.m. a line of thunderstorm cells, capable of producing quarter-sized hail and winds in excess of 60 mph, was moving north-northeast about eight miles east of Deming.
