For the second of four Merrill Community Forum Series events, Peter Kageyama, author of "For the Love of Cities" toured the community prior to his keynote presentation called "For the Love of Merrill." Based on his tour, Kageyama gave specific suggestions that might work in Merrill.

The Merrill Police Department and Lincoln County Crimestoppers are asking for the public's help investigating a suspicious grass fire on Wednesday.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office announced Monday that the human remains found Friday in Taylor County had been confirmed as Anita Bucki, who was reported missing by her husband from their town of Corning home April 26.
