OHS student wins Idaho Bureau Federation Scholarship

Clearwater-Lewis County Farm Bureau would like to congratulate Chelsea Barger, a 2009 Orofino High School graduate, for being awarded an Idaho Bureau Scholarship in the amount of $750. Idaho Farm Bureau Federation awards eight of these $750 scholarships to worthy Farm Bureau applicants from around the state each year.

Suicide victim found on Highway 12

A 47 year-old man, with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, was found in his vehicle by Department of Lands employees at the 5 Mile Rest Area along Highway 12 Tuesday morning.

IJC seeks sanctions against good judge for curious cause

John Bradbury sued the Idaho Judicial Council as an attorney in 1998. Elected District Judge in 2002, Judge Bradbury was narrowly defeated in his bid for a seat on the Idaho Supreme Court in 2008.
