An Oklahoma appeals court has upheld the life prison sentence of a Wilburton woman who was found guilty of first-degree murder in the death of her 7-month-old daughter.

A collision Friday evening in Latimer County hospitalized two Red Oak children. Troopers say the two boys, both under 10, were not belted in, and the driver was under the influence of alcohol.

According to a report from the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission local unemployment rates held steady across the state during the month of November with two out of 77 counties reporting an increase.
