One man indicted in massive Lassen marijuana bust

LASSEN COUNTY, Calif. -- A Mexican national faces charges of growing marijuana and depredation of public lands in the Lassen National Forest.

Conserve water during drought

According to Lassen County Public Works Director Larry Millar, Lassen County has not seen many examples of the drought that is threatening California, but the State Water Board still issued a press release urging residents to limit the amount of water used outdoors.

Lassen County dismissed as defendant in Grace Foundation case

County Administrative Officer Richard Egan said an Orange County Superior Court judge made the decision today, Monday, Aug. 4. The lawuit has been dismissed with prejudice meaning Beth DeCaprio, executive director of The Grace Foundation, will not be able to re-file the case.
