Colorado man charged for bogus plane crash report

He causes one heck of a ruckus, utilizes services that may have been needed elsewhere, runs up a thirty thousand dollar tab then can only be charged with a misdemeanor with a $250. bond....I think he got off pretty easy. That is until he's sober and standing in front of the judge. Hopefully he'll have to pay the taxpayers money back and have some jail time to think about all the trouble he caused.

The KGB errrr ummm Homeland security or the FBI should charge him with terrorism. In fact isnt what he did a terrorist act? You do not have to blow up a building or hijack a plane to be one. An enemy of the people simply has to squander public resources. Since he is stuck in jail on a $250 fine maybe if he learned to be sober he would have money for bail.

Better idea yet. Line up all the emergency responders, volunteers, doctors, nurses, sheriffs, and other people affected by his little staged drama, and have him run the gauntlet. Then give him enough community service (and schedule it during drinking hours) that hell have 10 years to repent of his behavior. Maybe Vladimir Putin can give him a nice place to live in Siberia? or we could have him scrub toilets at a remote army base in Alaska where there are no phones.
