This weekend, two Iowa officers killed in the line of duty will be recognized during a ceremony in Washington, DC.

Eleven people in Keokuk County are in jail after areaA law enforcement conducted a lengthy investigation into the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

On April 27, 2012, after a year long investigation, including the Keokuk County Sheriff's Office and the Southeast Iowa Drug Task Force and Sigourney Police Department, 10 individuals were arrested for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine in Keokuk County.

April 24, 2012 - Iowa 92 is closed just west of Sigourney in Keokuk County to traffic in both directions due to bridge deck damage, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation's District 5 Office in Fairfield.
