Kankakee County: Joyce Farms eyes expansion
Joyce Farms Recycling Inc. is petitioning local and state officials for approval to nearly double its composting site, from 13 to 22 acres.
Aggravated battery Neil Bernsteen, 23, of 584 S. Chicago Ave., Kankakee, was arrested at 5:03 p.m. Tuesday by Kankakee police for aggravated battery after a stabbing in the 500 block of East River Street.
