Morrison to speak out about investigation
Former Kansas Attorney General Paul Morrison and his attorney, Trey Pettlon, will hold a press conference this afternoon to talk about Johnson County District Attorney Phill Kline's appointment of two special prosecutors to investigate Morrison.
Morrison and Pettlon will appear at 1:30 p.m. on the south steps of the Johnson County Courthouse.
Kline announced Tuesday that Olathe-based attorneys Robert E. Arnold III and Timothy Keck will look into allegations arising from an extramarital affair Morrison had with a former staffer in the Johnson County District Attorney's Office. The former staffer alleges that Morrison used their relationship to interfere with investigations Kline was conducting. Read more
