Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle fatality crash at milepost 185 on Interstate 84 with assistance from Jerome County Sheriff's Office Sunday morning at 6:07a.m. Omar Labra-Barrera, 22, of Ammon, was traveling west on Interstate 84 when, for unknown reasons, his vehicle went off the road.

A study to determine the feasibility of building a regional jail in southern Idaho could be completed as soon as September 2010, but local leaders say actually building the facility could take several years.
