The Jasper County Sheriff's Office is investigating a child sexual assault case involving two 12- year-old girls from Kirbyville.

According to Sheriff Mitchell Newman, 20-year-old Cody Williams of Kirbyville is in the Jasper County Jail charged with aggravated sexual assault and is being held on a $75,000 bond.

Two Beaumont teens arrested in connection with a May 10 West End drive-by shooting were indicted Thursday on four counts each of deadly conduct.

Beaumont police, with the assistance of the Jasper County Sheriff's Department arrested drive-by shooting suspects.

A 19-year-old man was booked into the Jasper County jail Wednesday on charges that he sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl at a party in Buna, media reports.
