By THOMAS JENKINS Staff Writer A Howard County grand jury handed down 23 indictments Thursday, including a true bill for murder in the shooting death of a 16-year-old Big Spring youth.

Twenty suspects were arrested this week during a three-day, joint anti-gang operation with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement , Big Spring, Texas Police Department and Howard County, Texas Sheriff's Office that ended Wednesday, according to reports obtained by the National Association of Chiefs of Police.

The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today: CHRISTINA GUTIERREZ, 26, of 2800 Highway 33, was arrested Thursday on a local warrant.

Chess Lee Gooch, 92, of Big Spring, died Wednesday at Scenic Mountain Medical Center.
