State GOP Chairman: I expect Hanna to run in 2010

Arcuri has a couple strikes against him. First of all, there is the perception that the favors he performed as a DA got him where he is today. Secondly, there is his voting record, which includes adding a break for dirty coal energy plants in the clean energy bill (does he deny the acid rain problems we have or the global warming problem?), and telling the FCC they shouldn't try to enforce network neutrality on the Internet (the very foundation that made the Internet what it is today). In both cases, Arcuri sold us out in favor of big business. Let's see if he does the same with the public option in the healthcare reform bill.

I saw the damage that Republicans did to our country during the Bush era and I don't care for their attitude against some of the things I believe in, but I haven't seen any indication that Richard Hanna has been in a position to provide favors in order to get into office. If Arcuri continues to sell us out, I will vote for Hanna and hope that Hanna will do a better job of representing me. As a business owner, he is aware of the need for affordable health care. Can we say the same for Arcuri? Until Arcuri votes on the health care issue, we won't know. When Arcuri's day comes, I hope everyone pays attention to his voting record and makes an educated decision instead of voting along party lines.
