On Saturday, Sept. 6, the public is invited to tour three private gardens in Canton and Glastonbury through the Garden Conservancy's Open Days program; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to each garden is $5, the Open Day is rain or shine, and no reservations are required.

The annual 4-H fair will take place on Friday, Aug.15 through Sunday Aug. 17 at the Four Town Fairgrounds located on Egypt Road in Somers, just off of Route 83. Admission pricing is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and children 7-12, and free for children 6 and under.
