Primaries are few, but contested races await in November

Filings for 2010 election closed at 5 p.m. Monday, resulting in a primary contest for the Grundy County Board among Republicans in District 2, and a District 1 board incumbent not seeking re-election. Five Republicans have filed for Grundy County Board from District 2, requiring a primary vote on Feb.
