To clarify, it's not a wet/dry petition. It's a "moist" petition.

It allows restaurants that seat at least 100 to serve. 70% of sales HAS to be food.

Please join and lets make this a reality.

How does one go about signing the petition? Knowledge is power in this case and the more we know the better off we are.

Oh my gosh.. this is just a start of bad things for Grayson Co. 1st you'll be able to buy alchohol at a resteraunt, and that will lead to stores selling it.. Next thing you know our kids wont be able to go to the bootleggers because they will be put out of buiseness.. Whats this world comeing to... This is leading to bad things people...Next thing you know someone in Grayson Co. will learn how to make drugs like that meth stuff.. OH.. my bad, I think some already know how..

Thats exactlty what I would do bring more poisons into this county. You all are stupid! As if we don't have enough problems with teen pregnancy, drugs (meth), and under age drinking! Lets sign a petition to make it easier to obtain liqour. First step moist county, next step wet county. Why don't we just stamp r.i.p. on our childrens forheads!!! This county is spiraling downhill, I think our county officials should be working harder to eliminate these problems not debate whether or not we should start bringing them in! You know i have an idea how about we get a movie theatre, a skating rink, or I don't know a mall for god sakes!

I dont think of it as bringing more poisons in.. This will only make it to where our kids can not get it. i remember being in high school going to the local bootlegger and getting anything i wanted, this would aid in putting them out of buiseness. I would rather see our tax dollars being spent right here than everyone driving to Bowlinggreen and spending it.. There going to get it one way or another... I agree with you on one thing, kids do need something to do around here. But this I dont beleive would hurt them.

Well if parents would instill better morals in their kids there wouldn't be a problem with teen pregnancy, drugs and under age drinking.
I've lived in the county for 24 years, I don't do drugs, never have, waited till I was 19 before I even had sex, and didn't touch a drop of liquor till I was 21. I learned ALL of this from my MOM and DAD...so I know that parents CAN teach morals.

The problem is alot of them don't. what kind of world is it when 12 13 and 14 year old girls are having babies, doing drugs and drinking. It happens here and alot of the good parents have no clue! It really doesnt matter what kind of parent you are i've watched preachers daughters, cops daughters, judges sons ect. ect. sit and do drugs right in front of a room full of people. maybe you learned from you parents but most teens dont and the dont want to why should they when they can do things that makes them a little more cool or a little more sex. i'm not saying its gonna cause an apocalypse if they make it ok to drink at restaurants im just saying i think its a bad idea.

Stupid is as stupid does. I am continually amazed by the lack of eloquence and vocabulary you display in your comments. Your point is well taken, but it is unfortunately lost in the vulgarity you so eagerly embrace.

Well, put Forest Gump. With that said, making this county wet would be a great opportunity.

If you think I have a smart mouth, you really need to read your own comments. I am just trying to save you from yourself.

The city council nor the fiscal court has anything to do with this wet/dry vote. It is a citizen referendum...go citizens and do you duty!

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Scorpio

Self-worship is easy and obvious, today. The real prize is when you turn from the mirror to see that others think just as highly of you. Take in all this love and amazement, and store some away for lean times in the future. Someone may give you an unexpected compliment later in the day, but don't let them know that it caught you off guard. After all, you still have your reputation as an egomaniac to uphold!
