Indiana county OKs body cameras for deputies
Deputies with a southwestern Indiana sheriff's department will soon be equipped with body cameras designed to collect potentially crucial evidence during police interactions with suspects. The Gibson County Council last week unanimously approved allocating $20,000 in riverboat revenue funds to pay for 20 cameras and computer accessories for the county's deputies.

Oakland City woman busted for driving while suspended
Gibson County Sheriff's Officials arrested an Oakland City Woman early Wednesday morning after noticing her driving over the speed limit on State Road 64 heading west. Sergeant Bruce L. Vanoven haulted a black 1997 Dodge pickup being operated by 31 year old April M. Benningfield of Oakland City.
