Western New York child dies of swine flu

Health officials in Genesee County have linked a child's death to swine flu. Interim Health Director Randolph Garney would only identify the victim as a school-age child with confirmed H1N1 influenza.

People who are sick need to stay home. When your kid is sick, take the day off and be a responsible parent by keeping him/her home. This is how we will beat it. I personally know of 2 families who sent their sick kids to school and my kid caught their rot. But unlike them, I kept my kid home until she was 100%. Let's not just depend on the flu shot and take more actions in prevention by using good 'ol common sense.

I totaly am with u on that! everywhere I went today I saw a sick kid coughing and sneezin all over the place.and people wonder why the flu is speading like wildfire.gotta love the buffalonian ignorance level.
