Tons of teachers: Southern Indiana districts hire replacements for retirees, others who left

School districts have hired several new teachers this year, nearly 170. Some districts reported that's higher than usual for a few reasons, but for others, they said it's just business as usual.

Southern Indiana animal shelter rescues 68 dogs from one home

Nearly 70 dogs were removed from a modular home in western Kentucky by the New Albany Floyd County Animal Shelter.
