Rell Touts Public Transportation, Van Pools For Commuters
Gov. M. Jodi Rell is inviting people to take advantage of a state-sponsored program that gives 10 free bus rides to new riders.
The commuting options offer relief from high gas prices, Rell said. Options include buses, trains and telecommuting.
'This is a perfect opportunity for those folks who have been giving some serious thought to commuting because of high gas prices but aren't sure if it is for them,' Rell said in a press release.
The state is also offering a free voucher for a three-day van-pooling trial.
