Devil's bargain

At first blush, the proposal to build a nuclear power plant on the Green River was a cockamamie concoction that ignored Utah's shrinking water resources, sensitive vegetation and wildlife, and the state's grieveous experience with radioactive uranium, waste storage and weapons testing.
