Bat-wielding man beats up his own car

A 20-year-old Menomonie man apparently upset about his girlfriend became so angry that when his 23-year-old neighbor told him not to drive drunk, the younger man hit his own car with a baseball bat.

New jail workers could cost county $1.3 million in 2010
