Castle Rock ballots still being counted on open carry issue

Residents have spent much of the past year trying to figure out the future of this town's gun laws and now they will have to wait a few more days as officials scramble to tally up ballots from Tuesday's special election.

The 13-year-old Castle Pines resident, whose full name is Taylor Rae Muckel, will be showing off her booming voice 4:30 p.m. Friday at the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo , the first time she will be performing seven songs, including two new songs she wrote and recorded this year.
