Albany burglary suspect captured at Dougherty County Jail

Lamont Eugene Tyler, 25, was wanted in connection with a burglary that took place at 2609 Gillionville Road on Aug. 14. He was already at the Dougherty County Jail on Monday for a drug test as part of his probation when the staff there found out that he was wanted by the APD, police officials said.

A former Dougherty County Middle School teacher, fired after being charged with possession of child pornography, is back in jail after being accused of threatening his family. 40-year old Brian Brannen remains in the Dooly County Jail on two counts of terroristic threats.
