With $120 million awarded from the governor's office, officials with the Virginia Department of Transportation are continuing to develop areas of the Coalfields Expressway across Buchanan, Dickenson and Wise counties.

Anyone driving through Dickenson County over the next couple of days should watch out for a construction project in Haysi.

The Virginia Department of Transportation warns motorists to be on the lookout for several construction projects in Dickenson County that can cause traffic delays or changes.

Skies are mostly clear this morning and conditions cool with temperatures in the upper 30's and lower 40's. Look for a windy afternoon with a high in the lower 70's. A Reg Flag Warning has been issued for Dickenson and Buchanan counties along with all of eastern Kentucky.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch from 8 am this morning through late tonight for Dickenson and Buchanan counties in Virginia.
