Accident at NE Indiana factory kills Fort Wayne contractor

DeKalb County Coroner Jeff Warner says 54-year-old Jim McCullough was on a scissor-lift about 35 feet in the air Saturday afternoon, trying to install safety equipment on a crane inside Assmann Corp.'s factory in Garrett about 20 miles north of Fort Wayne.

Woman hospitalized after car flips

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. The driver of a car lost control going into a curve and ended up down an embankment on County Road 61 with the car flipped onto its roof just after 9:00 pm on Wednesday according to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Department.

2 die as motorcycle, semi collide

Shortly after 1:30 p.m. Michael E. Wilson, 47, of Auburn, was headed west on County Road 24 near Waterloo as he approached U.S. 6, but failed to navigate a curve before the intersection, the DeKalb County Sheriff's Department said.
