BOISE, Idaho -- A state judge has ordered four men convicted of poaching in central Idaho to spend 200 days in jail and pay more than $25,000 in fines.

Val Siegel, Custer County's new prosecutor, is a small town boy at heart who likes mountains and outdoor activities, so he feels right at home in Challis.

It was a stovepipe fire and Challis fire and ambulance volunteers were called out to the Don and Damee Tinsley home to fight it at 9:55 p.m. Passerby Doug Robins saw the flames shooting out of the stovepipe's top, blown sideways by the wind so it almost looked like the roof was on fire, Challis Fire Chief Ray Varney said.

A young man charged with aggravated DUI who admitted in November that his drinking and driving led to an October 2011 car wreck that killed another man, withdrew his conditional guilty plea on January 18.

Smoldering wreckage was all that remained of Perry Ogden's garage Tuesday after a fire destroyed it.
