Severe thunderstorm warning issued for areas in North Texas

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for northwestern Collin County, southern Cooke County and northeastern Denton County until 11:30 a.m. Storms that swept through North Texas overnight and into the early morning brought hail and led to power outages across the area.
