If an unleashed pit bull even looks at my cat the wrong way, I will draw my knife and glock 21 and shoot it, if it charges me it will run into the blade. Owners of smaller animals do not and should not afford pit bulls the benefit of the doubt because they kill small animals so quickly. In my area my gun permit is as much to shoot threatning dogs as it is for my job. God help the dog that tries to hurt my cat, and if I am too late I'll kill the dog after, bury my cat then find the owner and put a bullet in him. I may go to prison for it, but I doubt anyone would blame me.
