Recent rainfalls revive West Texas rangeland grasses

Although warm-season grasses are late in returning to most West Texas rangeland - they're still facing recovery from last year's drought - there is a greater chance for improvement soon as a result of significant rainfall in recent weeks.

GE unit and JP Morgan invest in NextEra Texas wind farm

General Electric unit GE Energy Financial Services said it joined U.S. bank JPMorgan Chase to jointly invest $225 million in a partnership that owns the 662.5-megawatt Capricorn Ridge wind farm in West Texas.
