Douglas jobless rate increase attributed to seasonal trend

Although the July unemployment rate in Douglasville and Douglas County reflected an increase from June, officials with the Douglas County Chamber of Commerce and city of Douglasville view these as seasonal fluctuations and not an indication of an increasing jobless trend.
