What exactly is an "outdoor cat?" Borough ordinance No. 1140 states cats shall not be allowed to run at large. Same goes for Lawrence Township. keep your damn cats inside where they belong!

So you prefer a populated infestation of rodents instead? lol.

Thanks to my "outdoor/indoor" cat, I haven't seen one mouse in five years. My neighbors are happy about that, since of course, my cat is trained, neutered, fed and well taken care of.

I've lived in areas with no cats and rodents were never a problem. That's a piss-poor excuse for not keeping your cat inside where it belongs.

Cats defecate on other peoples property. If a neighbors dog crapped in your yard you'd be having a fit and you know it, so why would it be ok for your cat to do the same elsewhere? Irresponsible pet owners always have some excuse as to why it's ok for them to break the law.

I trapped 4 cats last year and took them to the SPCA. I haven't seen them around since. The owners either paid money to get their cats back and are now keeping them inside where they belong or they destroyed.

You may thinks it's ok to let your cat out, but someone else isn't going to feel the same and your beloved pet will either meet its demise or you'll have to pay to get it back. That makes you the dumbass.

You are obviously unaware of the rodent problem in the Clearfield Borough.

My cat uses the litterbox, thus is not defacating on other lawns. He is tidy, well fed and does not feast on garbage. He is in during the day and out late at night. I found dead mice and rats on my doorstep once a week when I first moved here. Now I haven't seen one, alive or dead, in years. My cat keeps the strays that are feasting on garbage and defacating on property out of his territory. For this, my neighbors are grateful.

You must be one of those dumbsses tghat can only think in black and white. Good thing your buddy got his job as code enforcer now you can pursue your anti-feline agenda.

I ask you this: wtf are you doing about the rodent problem in downtown? OR POTHOLES?????? Or dirty lightpost covers filled with mold and mildew? Or bent parking meters? Or rusty flag poles? Or sidewalks that have sustained thousands of dollars in damage due to constructioin? Curbs would be a nice thing to protect the walks. Maybe we'll get some oneday.

This is just a sad topic. Animals have a right to live and shouldnt be destroyed because scruffs dont have their animals neutered or take care of them. I agree with the poster about the rodents. There is a population of strays around my home and I feed them, catch them, neuter and release them. I dont have to deal with rabbits feeding on my garden and mice and other varmits. Taxpayer, you are such a cold and ignorant person. May God have mercy on you. By the way, arent we all taxpayers? Kind of a stupid name. You are implying somehow you have more rights because you pay taxes? We all pay taxes...My rights as an animal lover are the same as your rights as an animal hater and destroyer. Hope you can sleep well at night, but I am sure someone with your character has no problem whatsoever.

Sorry little apple tree, I'm not an "animal hater", I'm a responsible pet owner who would never let my cat run at large. I've seen my share of dead cats that have been hit by cars, that alone is reason enough for me not to let my pet outside. I guess you and "dumbass" would rather your cat take a chance with a vehicle, other animals and traps rather than live a safe life indoors. Do you also get all those strays vacinated against FIV? Up to 14 percent of the cat population is infected. The chance of an indoor cat getting it is zero. I have my doubts that you are getting strays neutered and then releasing them, but post whatever you have to post to make yourself look good.
It's too bad you have to stoop to calling me an animal hater and ignorant when it is I who have my pets best intrest at heart. It seems you are the one who is really ignorant of the dangers that outdoor cats are subjected to.

And Dumbass, since I have been speaking out AGAINST the code enforcement officer, how would that make him my buddy? No wonder you are called dumbass.

This thread isn't aboput those problems, Dumbass.
If you want to discuss them, start another thread about them instead of humping my post.

I'm no more implying that I have more rights than you, than you are implying you are a better person because you are an "animal lover" and claim I am not. What that does make you is a hypocrite, making accusations that have no merit. BTW, how is "apple tree" any more intelligent a name than "taxpayer?"

So you are the idiot pushing our Borough to focus on feline issues instead of more important problems?

I hope your cat gets trapped too. Of course you'll blame it on someone else because dirtbags never take responsibilty for their own actions.

Actually, I didn't mean you abuse discretion. What I mean is that you do not USE discretion in this matter.

And isn't this the trouble with laws? They are only as good as the interpreter/enforcer.

It seems to me that you are left with the impression that the owner of the cat is the sufferer. When in fact, the real sufferer is the animal. An animal that was PUT into this kingdom and has a PLACE in this kingdom.

If I remember correctly, the Borough once poisoned the pigeons to wander aimlessly down the street to their demise.

What makes you think that a human's compassion for a wild bird would be any different than the attitude displayed here towards domesticated animals and their "dirty" TAXPAYING owners?

Are the ducks wandering throughout the Borough a nuisiance? Don't they carry diseases? Are they next on your list?

Go ahead after every domesticated feline; trap torture and kill them and perhaps you have discovered Hitler's method of streamlining a population.

Do they take a dog with a dog tag to the SPCA? Why is there no Cat tag law implented so that you and your PUSSY POLICE no longer confuse the terms domesticated and feral?

So, while you keep your wimpy, fat, lazy lap cat indoors and call yourself clean, my extremely well- trained hunter-by-nature will keep the river rats out of your walls so you and your pussy police can sleep and eat comfortably.

No. My cat is on private property. You, TAXPAYER IDIOT, don't own any part of my cat's territory.

Keep your eyes open for larger river rats to start surfacing, dumbass. And keep our taxpaing dollars being wasted on your pathetic attitude and extreme views.

I have spoken to my neighbors, and my cat has their permission to cross their property. If you take my cat from my property or from a property in which the owner allows my pet, you will be charged with a crime.

Your stupidity is still obvious. PIG

Sure you did. Next you'll tell us that you follow your cat around every night and know exactly where it goes. Your story is so full of holes it looks like an old screen door.

If you believe I have caught cats in places other than my own property, then by all means, go find my trap and take it, then report it to the police. Put your money where your big mouth is. BTW, who's "Jeff?" I think you should leave the detective work to the experts and stick with forum stalking.

Daily Horoscope for November 26

Capricorn

The Moon enters your fourth house of home and family today, urging you to spend more time with your loved ones. There may be trouble brewing at home, so head it off at the pass before tomorrow, when conditions are right for a blowout. Take the time to really listen to what the people you live with are saying. If you live by yourself, you might want to water your plants and talk to them for a while; they miss you.
