Jury acquits Oakview police officer of assault charge

A Clay County jury acquitted an Oakview police officer this week of assaulting a 90-year-old man during a traffic stop in 2009.The officer, Kimberly A. Whyley, 41, had been charged with third degree assault, a misdemeanor.
