Multiple Tornadoes Touch Down in Southern Colorado
A severe storm moved through Southern Colorado Wednesday evening, producing several tornadoes.
Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties hit by hail
The eastern counties of Kit Carson and Cheyenne were pounded with large hail Friday evening, with some reports of baseball-sized hail 2.75 inches in diameter.
Colorado Unemployment remains at 7.6 percent in June
Colorado's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained unchanged in June at 7.6 percent, according to Donald J. Mares, Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment.
These storms were located along a line extending from 10 miles southwest of Burlington to 15 miles north of Cheyenne Wells to firstview... moving east at 20 mph.

The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for Colorado edged down one-tenth of a percentage point to 7.4 percent in April, state labor officials said on Friday.
