Probly a wise course. Sometimes you have to spend money to get out of a jam. We sorely need out of this mess. Ya think Lacey Smith's name will come up in the hunt?(Sorry, haven't had my coffee yet).

Maybe they will have to eliminate Virginia, in order to find an honest man.....

I agree with you though JE, they made the right decision to get some help on this. At least they weren't too bull-headed to think it could be done without help.

Finally. Someone with some sense is navigating. We need professional help--and the opportunity to look beyond the "Good Old Boy (and Girl) Network". Good times may be on the horizon....

Since January just how much has Madam Chair, Ressler, and their flunkies cost Gloucester County and its citizens? From bad press to the county,(immersiable) attorney fees, Lacy Smith fiasco, and now HEAD HUNTER fees. I am sure that I have forgotten other costs. If so please let me know. When will this fiasco end. There is hope, the GJ!! Oops, I did forget advertising bills they spent trying to clean up the mess "they" created.

Remember? Bill Whitley went into that Jan 2-3 meeting prepared to suggest a company to be hired that would hunt for replacements for him and Stuck--in relative ease. He had a plan to help them, even as they had a plan to humiliate him. I hope he is content, even happy while they are "laying low and saying nothing," just like Tarbaby in the old child's tale.'Cept he was a sympathetic character, and their quiet is menacing.

Might be a good idea to ask Mr. Ramsey to stay a year or two. He is a Pro and has certainly been a wonderful asset to the county in the midst of this mess. If we have special elections, to replace our current Supervisiors, it would be great to have his professionalism to get the county through that difficult time.

Does the BOS have to pay an outside party to help it find toilet facilities? Just what can they do on their own?

I hear the county didn't get any applications for the chief accountant. Maybe this head-hunting firm can find an accountant also. What about the utility director? Have they found anyone for that position yet. Seems no one in the region wants to work for this board. But that's no surprise.

Springsted is biased and plays favorites with friends. Ramsey is one of them! The county is wasting $20,000 on this bad move.
