Valentine, Neb., man shot, killed by police

An armed 56-year-old Valentine man has been shot and killed by police. Cherry County Attorney Eric Scott confirmed reports that Gary Connot was killed early Tuesday morning in Valentine after officers responded to a call from the home of Connot's ex-wife. It was unclear whether Connot pointed a gun at officers or fired at them.
