Depending on weather and unforeseen circumstances, construction sites where delays may occur this week include: Medium- and low-severity incidents Buncombe County Both directions of Interstate 40 are closed between Exit 20, West of Asheville, and Exit 421 east of Knoxville, Tenn., due to a rock slide at mile marker 2.6 on I-40 in North Carolina.
