NYSEG says some parts of Central New York will be without power until Saturday

Nearly 13,900 NYSEG customers in Central New York are without power Wednesday, and some of the towns hardest hit by the storm may not have electricity restored until Saturday, the company said.

The bulk of the people without power were located in Onondaga County where utility-provider National Grid reported about 6,000 customers without power, Virginia Limmiatis, a National Grid spokeswoman, said.

Two teens charged with damaging Cranebrook Golf Course

Two 16-year-old Montezuma men were arrested late last week on felony criminal mischief charges after they caused more than $11,000 in damage to the Cranebrook Golf Course, Cayuga County Sheriff David Gould said.
