N.H. unemployment rate continues creep upward

New Hampshire's unadjusted unemployment rate for September continued its upward creep to stand at 7.0 percent, compared to 6.9 percent in August and 3.9 percent in September 2008.

No arrest despite flurry of activity at scene of Wolfeboro murder

State police and local police as well as officers from the Carroll County Sheriff's Department converged on a north Wolfeboro neighborhood Monday afternoon, forming a loose perimeter around the North Main Street home where Stacy Burns, a mother of five, was murdered on Mother's Day.
