Two people were injured Wednesday evening when a car collided with a semitrailer trying to make a U-turn on state Highway 57 near New Holstein, according to the Calumet County Sheriff's Department.

State 57 is closed south of the city because of a traffic crash. The Calumet County Sheriff's Department said police, medical and fire personnel were called to the crash about 7 p.m. Information on and injuries in the two-vehicle crash was not immediately available.
