Michael Peterson pleads no contest in shooting death of ex-wife

Michael Petersen entered the plea Monday in Buffalo County District Court. Petersen, of rural Glenvil, faced two counts each of first-degree murder and use of a weapon for the Nov. 13 slayings of 52-year-old Todd Elsbernd and 58-year-old Nancy Peterson.
