Batchelor, 27, of Louisville, Tenn., was crossing the parkway near the overpass of Russell Road around 6:05 a.m. when he was hit by a westbound 2010 Chevrolet Impala driven by Timothy Hooper, 26, of Maryville, according to a news release from Alcoa Police Department Sgt.
