A nurse at the Bannock County Jail in eastern Idaho who authorities say stole medication intended for inmates and substituted less potent medication has been charged with four felonies.

It has not been a good night for incumbents in Pocatello. Mayor Roger Chase will not serve a third term, losing to Brian Blad 3,792 votes to 3,417. Robert Richway who has spent more than a decade in public service lost his seat on the City Council to former Bannock County Commissioner Craig Cooper.
