Sheriff Bancroft announces an early retirement in Asotin County
Asotin County Sheriff Ken Bancroft has announced he wants to retire early. He sent a letter to commissioner Jim Fuller announcing his retirement which will be effective August first.

Marijuana retailer is still waiting approval from city leaders

A 66-year-old man was taken into custody at the Asotin County Sheriff's Office Monday afternoon and charged with six counts of 1st-degree Rape of a Child for allegedly inappropriately touching a six-year-old girl.
