Authorities in Archer and Wichita counties are investigating whether two suspects caught after a high-speed chase Tuesday are involved in a larger burglary ring.

While a high-spreed chase was going on in Archer County, authorities there received help from the Wichita County sheriffs office and the DPS with a motorcycle accident on Highway 79 at Lakeside City.

The high speed chase and excitement in Archer County started around noon when an Archer County woman who went home on her lunch break surprised a burglar inside her house off Highway 79.

The incident began about noon today as law officers were investigating reports of two burglaries on SH 79 on the south edge of Wichita Falls.

An autopsy will determine the cause of death of an Archer County man killed in an ATV accident late Friday, according to Sheriff Staci Beesinger.

The investigation continues into last night's fatal ATV accident in Archer County and tonight, authorities have identified the victim.
