The Crossroads Regional Park board on Monday approved the bid of Parsons Earthworks of Iuka for clearing and grubbing of 17 acres of park property for expansion.

Park director Todd Witt retiring after 25 years

Butch Carmichiel, chairman of the Corinth-Alcorn County Parks and Recreation Commission, says the board will advertise the position with applications due May 1. Witt says he is taking a job as a sales representative for a manufacturer in the shooting, hunting and outdoor gear industry.
