TCM marathon honors late actor Charleton Heston
On April 11, Turner Classic Movies will honor legendary actor Charlton Heston, who died April 6 at the age of 84, with a 15-hour marathon of his films, including his Oscar-winning role in 'Ben-Hur' (1959), and two showings of a conversation between Heston and host Robert Osborne in the TCM original special, 'Private Screenings: Charlton Heston.'
The following is a complete schedule of TCM's April 11 tribute to Charlton Heston (times are CDT): 1:30 p.m. 'Private Screenings: Charlton Heston'
2:30 p.m. 'The Buccaneer' (1958), co-starring Yul Brynner and Claire Bloom.
4:30 p.m. The Hawaiians (1970), co-starring Geraldine Chaplin and John Philip Law.
7 p.m. 'Private Screenings: Charlton Heston'
8 p.m. 'Ben-Hur' (1959), co-starring Jack Hawkins and Stephen Boyd.
Midnight 'Khartoum' (1966), co-starring Lawrence Olivier and Richard Johnson.
2:30 a.m. 'Major Dundee' (1965), co-starring Richard Harris, Jim Hutton and James Coburn.
